Panther Palooza, inspired by the infamous Lollapalooza was a rewarding experience for students all over the PUSD district. Although, more so our Porterville panthers. Panther ASB organized a 3 day event, full of fun! It takes a tremendous amount of thought and effort into organizing a three day period event. Therefore, a special thank you to our ASB Staff and Committee for providing memorable experiences for our students.
Day 1, Panther Palooza was centered around the late 2000s. Almost colliding Lollapalooza and Coachella. The PHS Quad was full of vendors, mostly run by ASB panthers. One of our Panthers as DJ, alongside Wicked Productions. While the music was jammin’, shopping was on and crackin’. From vendors like crochet flowers, to the fan favorite – thrift. The thrift was worth the hype, anything affordable underneath $10. Thankfully even some mythical pulls! Like Abercrombie & Fitch and Aeropostale. Since it was also a hot day, there was ice cream included if you didn’t want to invest in clothing or other items.
Thursday was laid-back, and back to old school. With vendors available on the football field, and the car show in the staff parking lot. This year’s car show was much different than ones before, though for those who entered a vehicle it was a fulfilling experience. Any entree’s into the car show are appreciated nonetheless, trophy or not. As for vendors who attended, like Churroholics and Thats So Fab!

Meanwhile, the real party was in front of PHS’s Sharman Gym. Vendors like, Cherry On Top, Travelin’ Tom’s Coffee, and Kona Ice were bustling at the Color Blast Dance. The Color Blast was officially on, but a last “hoorah” for the class of 2026 was coming to a close. Colorful chalk powder of pink, blue, and the iconic orange and green hues filled the night air. PUSD students all joined together, white attire to be “painted” by your peers.
Color Blast, was the blast everyone was waiting for. The energy remained hyped throughout the night, making it truly a night to remember. Bringing this year’s Panther Palooza to an end.
