What encouraged me to run was my parents. As a child, they always called me their queen.
How did you feel the moment you won?
I was happy and proud. I felt honored that my peers had chosen me to be their 2022 Homecoming Queen.
What do you think helped you secure the win?
What I feel helped me secure the win was my humbleness, activity involvement, and campaign/ rally support from my amazing friends.
How did you celebrate after winning?
After being crowned queen, I celebrated by making a TikTok with my crown/sash, followed by going to dinner and eating my all-time favorites: steak and greens.

I’ve always wanted to run since I was a freshman. Being a part of the rally and just having fun was always something I wanted to do.
How did you feel the moment you won?
Although I wasn’t able to be crowned because I was in the middle of a football game when I found out the news, I was super excited and super thankful for everyone who helped me get the win.
What do you think helped you secure the win?
Knowing a lot of people and being very social helped secure the win, and my family for helping me with everything. I also think my homecoming group helped me a lot.
How did you celebrate after winning?
After winning, I went to Canes with a couple of friends. Then I went home with my family and took lots of pictures.

How did you feel the moment you won?
I honestly felt indifferent because I knew I’d be grateful for this experience, win or lose.
What do you think helped you secure the win?
I think many of my friends told people to vote for me and the quality of my rally skit helped secure the win.
How did you celebrate after winning?
I went to the homecoming dance, and then I went to eat at Denny’s.

I’ve always wanted to run since I was little because I loved watching the girls get dressed up and win pretty tiaras.
How did you feel the moment you won?
The moment I won there was mixed emotions. Although I was upset, I didn’t win the queen. I was still super happy and thankful that all the hard work I put in paid off.
What do you think helped you secure the win?
My group of people helped me secure the win. They were there for me every step of the way putting in the same amount of hard work I had.
How did you celebrate after winning?
After I won, I was with my family the whole time we took so many pictures and enjoyed the moment with my family.
