Halloween Costume Ideas

Spooky Season has arrived, and Halloween is just around the corner. This is the time not only for tricks and treats but to dress up in a fun, creative way. What fun is it to celebrate Halloween without a costume? Halloween comes once a year and is the one night you can be anything you want without being deemed for it by anybody. The Halloween store is now open in town, and it’s better to get your costumes ahead of time if you plan on buying one before there is none left. It’s never fun being those people struggling to find a costume days before Halloween with limited options. Ever wonder where dressing up in costumes for Halloween even came from? This traditional holiday came from the ancient Celtic festival of Samhain. Celts celebrated their “new year” on November 1st. Celts believed that the night before their new year (October 31st) was the time in which realms between the living world and the dead would intertwine. They would often create bonfires to sacrifice animals.  According to History, during these rituals, people disguised themselves in costumes to ward ghosts off and any spirits trying to cause devilment. Over time, costumes have played an essential part in the celebration of Halloween, which has eventually evolved into a global holiday that continues to spread worldwide. As trends change over the years, people find it hard to figure out what they want to dress up as. Don’t stress about it; we’ve got you covered. On a budget? No problem.
