Both Girls and Boys Cross Country participated in the League Championships, Wednesday, November 10th at Veterans Park here in Porterville. The girls that ranked were: Estrella Limones (Freshman), Ariana Gil Mendoza (Sophomore), Araceli Vasquez (Senior), Giselle Alcantar (Junior), and Kalista Ayala (Junior). The boys that ranked were: Misael Lopez (Senior), Dominic Welsh (Junior), Alessandro Escarzaga (Sophomore), Andres Rodriguez (Junior), Elias Pompa (Junior), Tristan Nieblas (Senior), and Mehakjot Singh (Junior). 

The Boys’ Cross Country team’s overall score was 92. Out of 6 schools, they ranked 4th place.

EYL FINAL STANDINGS: Tulare Western (1st with a score of 23), Monache (2nd place with a score of 55), Delano (3rd place with a score of 89), Tulare Union (5th place with a score of 121), and Mission Oak (6th place with a score of 141). 

The Girls’ Cross Country team’s overall score was 93. Out of 6 schools, they ranked 4th place.

EYL FINAL STANDINGS: Tulare Western (1st with a score of 19), Monache (2nd place with a score of 49), Mission Oak (3rd place with a score of 92), Tulare Union (5th place with a score of 122) and Delano did not make it in time, so they did not rank.
