Last month, our PAHS seniors toured UCLA and learned about campus life and various resources. Students had exceptional tour guides: our very own PAHS alums who are currently attending UCLA! PAHS students had the opportunity to hear from the alumni panel and to ask questions about college, moving away from the Central Valley as a young adult, and tips and tricks for making the most out of college and internship opportunities. It was a great day of inspiration, exploration, and networking. Our former PAHS students, Emily Herrera, Diana Andrade, Julieth Reyes, Damian Ojeda, and Yasmine Bizarro, demonstrated that even after graduation, they are still going above and beyond to live by the academy motto “Always on Duty”!
