As we begin a new year, we took the opportunity to speak with a few panthers to ask about their New Year’s resolutions. We wish everyone good luck!
“My New Year’s resolution is to continue to improve and promote the great programs and activities at Porterville High School. I also plan to continue to see the positives in every situation and to continue enjoying each and every day and to spend time with family.” – Mr. Valdez
“My New Year’s resolution is to get more sleep.” -Natalie Rankin, 11th grade
“My New Year’s resolution is to not complain or get involved in unnecessary arguments.”- Mr. Verdusco
“My New Year’s resolution is to eat healthy, drink more water, and exercise more.”- Mr.Price
“My New Year’s resolution is to do at least 100 pushups a day.” – Mr. Hyder
“My New Year’s resolution is to spend more time with my family.”- Mr. Cartagena
“My New Year’s resolution is to drink more water.”- Allison Hicks, 12th grade
“My New Year’s resolution is to spend time with my family and to be involved in school more.” – James Guerra, 12th grade
“My resolution this year is to sleep more and also save my money.”- Ms. Avina
“My resolution is to not damage my hair and also learn how to drive.” – Katie Ramos, 11th grade

“My New Year’s resolution/goal is to learn more stunts in cheer.”- Nevaeh Sanches, 11th

“I do not have a resolution because they are easy to forget so I do word of the year and my word of the year is ‘enjoy’.” – Mrs. Hobbs Librarian
