HOSA students Ruhani Deswal, Christina Miranda, and Alenna Medrano presented a new program that HOSA is using to the PAHS staff at a recent staff meeting.
Body Interact is a simulation designed to mimic a real-life clinical scenario. Through the program, students utilize their critical thinking and decision-making skills to diagnose, treat, and save a patient. If one incorrectly handles the patient, their global score decreases and they risk losing their patient. To put it simply, their patient dies. It is an intense, educational, innovative, and fun system that helps shape students to become successful in the medical field.
