The Porterville Academy of Health Sciences is one of the three pathways available to the students of Porterville High. This is a great path for those interested in the medical field after high school due to the benefits a student can receive such as taking college prep courses or having the opportunity to get CPR, HIPAA, medical terminology certified, or even have the chance to get a Certified Nursing Assistant certification! This academy consists of wonderful staff who help students prepare for college and career opportunities. Students in this pathway have the chance to get hands on learning experiences in labs, local professions, such as a hospital.
