Girls Golf Tournament

Thursday, October 14, The Girls’ Golf Team competed in a Tournament against Tulare Union, Delano, Mission Oak, Monache, and Tulare Western, basically a preview of the EYL tournament coming up. The girls ended with an overall score of 617, but Tulare Union snatched the win. When asked about the most challenging part of a tournament, senior Jasmine Garay replied, “Staying in a positive mindset is probably the hardest thing when playing a tournament.” Junior Brenna Galloway responded, “The most difficult part is keeping mentally and physically strong. At tournaments, we play for 6 hours straigh and walk between 7-9 miles. It is difficult to stay positive when you are exhausted.” Girls’ Golf will have their League Championship Tournament Thursday, October 21.
