Girl’s Golf had a match against Mission Oak on Tuesday, October 5, at the River Island Golf Course. The ladies tried hard this week, but sadly, Mission Oak won the match. Senior Jasmine Garay explained, “My best advice would be to stay positive. Golf requires both mental and physical strength. Sometimes if you do something wrong, you can feel discouraged. That is exactly how I’ve felt for the past week. However, you have to do your very best to stay positive and keep ongoing. With a good mentality and determination, anybody could play and have fun golfing.” We need to continue to motivate the ladies for the rest of the season and be hopeful for new wins in the future. The ladies have the EYL tournament Thursday, October 7. We wish them the best of luck!
