How does it feel to be a teacher in today’s world? We asked a few teachers around PHS how they felt about it and this is what they said:

Landers, T-2 What is the most challenging part of teaching? “Having enough coffee for the whole day.”

Tapia, T-3 What is the most rewarding thing about teaching? “Helping students and making connections, seeing them succeed.”‘ What’s the most challenging thing of teaching? “The first few years and making lesson plans.”

Hardin, N-3 What’s the most challenging part of teaching? “Meeting everyone’s needs.” What is the most rewarding thing about teaching? “The diversity of “ah-ha” moments students get when learning new things.”

Andrade, L-5 What’s the most challenging part of teaching? “Even though I love teaching, I feel like I always need more time. I feel like I don’t have enough time to do everything and that stresses me sometimes.” What’s the most rewarding thing about teaching? “Seeing students grow and building relationships, learning about them and seeing them enjoy class.”
