PHS Celebrates College Day

Porterville Unified School District has selected October 1, as College Day, a day is intended to motivate students to go to college. Traditionally, October 1st is the first day that colleges begin accepting applications. To celebrate this day the staff at Porterville High School teachers shared their college journey/story with each of their classes. Hopefully, today each student heard seven different stories about how their teachers made their way through college and began teaching.
Earlier in the week, the faculty completed a survey where we learned which Universities they attended and degrees they have earned.
