For the second consecutive year in a row, our boy’s golf has qualified for valley championships. Led by head coach David Herrera, our boys look to make a statement next Monday May 8, at Valley Oaks Golf Course in Visalia. Leading this year’s golf group are two returning seniors Breken Ramage and Jaret Garcia. “This year’s group is well-rounded and has consistent low rounds every match,” says Coach Herrera. We also have two new members who have made an immediate impact on the group, Junior Tyler Sousa, Freshman Samuel Santillan, and Freshman Brody Wilson. After placing 2nd in last year’s valley championship, this year’s team looks to change that and bring home a valley championship for the first time ever in Porterville High’s golf.
