Today immediately after school, PHS will begin day one of PantherPalooza!

Purplepops will kick off PantherPalooza as they will be headlining the music festival that will be taking place in the amphitheater right after school.

Along with live music, clubs on campus will be selling food, so there will be plenty of food options to choose from so that you can enjoy the band while having a nice bite to eat. Rumor has it that the gaming club will be loaded with plenty of desserts, so make sure to go by their booth, get a delicious treat, and support arguably one of the best clubs on campus.

For those unfamiliar with the band purplepops, they are a local band that creates and covers alternative rock songs. Purplepops made their tv debut this last fall, and they’re looking forward to playing for their local community on the grounds from which their whole band originated.

Band members consist of Joshua Strummer (guitarist/lead singer), Ethan Rangel (lead guitarist), Kayfromfaraway (bassist), and Raymond (drummer). In fact, all band members are alumni of Porterville High School, so it’s great to see fellow Panthers pursuing a life in the direction their hearts desire.

You will not want to miss the live music and the food serviced by the clubs, so make sure to stay after school, as day one of PantherPalooza will be a day to remember!
