Boys’ and Girls’ Basketball teams are heading into the semi-finals this week. Both teams are one step closer to making it to valley.

In a win against Clovis on Friday, the boys now advance to the semi-finals on Wednesday in a matchup against the Sunnyside Wildcats. The Wildcats went 12-2 in league and are ranked the last seed in Division II. However, seeding isn’t a significant factor considering Sunnyside beat Lemoore, the number one seed, during the first round of playoffs. The main focus is on the opponent, and that’s it.

The Panthers have been preparing all season for the postseason and are more than capable of taking it all this year. The boys’ game will be held on Wednesday in the Sharman Gym at 6:00 pm, and the girls will play tonight at home against Hanford. With the season on the line, make sure to go out and support our Panthers as they battle in the semis for a chance to make it to valley.
