Congratulations to our Varsity Boys’ Basketball Team on winning the league EYL Championship. This season the boys went 8-2 and sealed the deal against Monache on Friday night, demolishing them 65-46 on Moanche’s home court. They are now contenders in the Division II playoffs as the 4th seed in the CIF Central Section.

Our Varsity Girls’ Basketball team is heading into the playoffs, seeded #2 in Division III. They ended their regular-season 7-3 and took a dub over their cross-town rivals on Friday night, giving Monache their only season loss. What a night the ladies had, closing the game with a win of 47-43. Our Lady Panthers have their first playoff game this Tuesday, February 14, in the Sharman Gym against Hanford West.

The following day, Wednesday, February 15, Varsity Boys will be at home, competing in their first playoff game against San Luis Obispo. The last time playing against San Luis Obispo, Panthers lost 60-45, so they’re looking to revamp and clutch the win to extend their playoff run.
