National Humor Month

National Humor Month is April. Larry Wilde, an author and humorist started National Humor Month in April 1976 to bring awareness to the therapeutic value of humor. Humor is an essential part of life as it plays a significant role in our health. Laughter and humor are said to reduce stress and pain. Humor helps us heal both physically and emotionally. It also relaxes our muscles, increases blood flow, and boosts our heart rate. Laughter is often times contagious. If you were to see someone laugh, you would likely start laughing.
