The invasion of Ukraine began on February 24, Russian President Vladimir Putin deployed troops to Eastern Ukraine. He believes Ukraine rightfully belongs to Russia and the Soviet Union, multiple attacks were made targeted towards cities, capitals, military headquarters, and airports. Hundreds, if not thousands of civilians have died and affected many families leaving them without a home and protection. Multiple missiles and air raids along with an invasion from North, East, and South. Volodymyr Zelensky, the president of Ukraine has gained the respect of many civilians for walking the streets to fight for his country against Russia, rather than fleeing abandoning his people.
