Last week on Friday, September 5, the Porterville Panthers marched on to victory and secured their second straight shutout. The game kicked off at 7:30 sharp against Selma High. It began in their favor by winning the coin toss and ended in a blowout, 41–0. Mark Salinas was the player of the game and led the offense by example, scoring four touchdowns, while Caleb Simmons and Damian Verduzco each scored one of their own. They move on with a bye this week and will play Highland at home next Friday, 9/19. Hope to see you there panthers!
