On Monday, our Water Polo Girls played against Monache. Our Girls were quite stressed since Monache is our rival, after all. The Girls played very hard in order to win, which they did. Senior Claire Lee stated, “Playing our rivals always adds extra stress, of course. We want to win so badly and make our school proud. However, Monache and our coaches have been lifelong friends; our teams have practiced and played games together this summer, so we are all very friendly with each other.” The Varsity Girls beat the Mauraders with a final score of 7-5.
