Abel Tesfaye D.B.A, The Weeknd — has released countless of perfect albums. From Trilogy, Starboy (deluxe), Dawn FM, After Hours and Kiss Land. With 51 albums, including remixes, its straight perfection.
Hurry Up Tomrrow is The Weeknds 6th album, that introduces a wide variety of collaborators that include: Lana Del Rey, Giorgio Moroder, and Daniel Lopatin, plus other popular pop artists. The album itself, is about 90 minutes all together and introduces an interesting point of genre: wrenching, horrific, and punctual, according to rollingstone.com. Hurry Up Tomorrow is retelling the story of a sci-fi, elctro-funk popstar who is tired of hiding under his mask, after releasing Dawn FM in 2022, we thought he was done, little did we know, he was in the making of something good. With Hurry Up Tomorrow being his final trilogy, Abel is attempting to send off his popstar figure of ambition cinematic fashion. Before the release of the album, in a recent interview, Abel states, “my body, and specifically my voice, had never failed me before.” Which is true, he’s one of the biggest pop stars with 67 gold and platinum albums and singles.
